Who is the Spirit of the Lord upon on in Isaiah 61:1? Many Christians believe it to be Jesus.
Also, Isaiah 65:15 talks about servants being called by a new name. Christians believe that to be a future event pointing it to the followers of Jesus.
Can someone explain those verse in Isaiah in a Jewish perspective?

Isaiah was made clean by the Angle of Adonai the day King Uzziah defiled the incense alter at the Temple.
Gd chose Isaiah as prophet this same time; Isaiah refers to spirit rather than say that Gd was speaking through him;
read chapter 63 to understand Isaiah 65;15
Jesus was born in the year 1 Bc. Isaiah lived 722 years before Jesus said birth
Paul's letters were around the year 30 AD; Paul is ground zero and first written source for Jesus
the Old Testament and Torah are the same book and tells you who Gd is and for what reason to obey him; in my day; preachers did not referred to Jesus as Gd like he is in present times; ancient christians preached Old Testament; the Church made New Testament;
if you like to read the prophets; read Elijah relationship with Gd;
Torah Teaching has never change the story in over 3k years;
now a days; Christians are claiming Elijah was Jesus too; soon Moses will be Jesus ..... peace
