Hello, all. I hope if you are here you support William and Rabbi Singer. The reason I chose my name is because growing up in Indiana in the 80s I had my fill of the hypocrisy of most christians. I chose to be a Ben Noahide because I visited my minister in Indiana and I said this makes zero sense regarding a "new" covenant. As a 14 or 15 year old I was like "why would an omnipotent alpha and omega have to send a mortal to earth, it makes no sense"
I am in the Army and I am an RN when I am not in the Army but I have been activated for the last 3 years. Both jobs make ethical dilemmas. Example: If I didn't work on the Sabbath, I couldn't have been trained and ready through the guard to go to Afghanistan and scuff up some truly, evil people. As a nurse, I worked on nights on the sabbath. Why? Well, because people are sick and they often can't get people on those shifts. Saturday night many want to drink and dance, not care for sick people.
I love Rabbi Singer and what he says IMO is always spot on. Some of the other Rabbis seem arrogant or dismissive but that is just my opinion.
I also really super appreciate William Hall's efforts. There were times I could be depressed, deployed and alone but then I'd listen to some of the talks and feel ready to take on the war again.
If you were around in the 80s, the Charlatans er Christians had us thinking that Satan and his devil minions were around the corner ready to possess you for listenting to Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath. It never occurred to these people that the only ones sucked in by the deceiver decide to actively pursue dark hobbies. Listening to metal doesn't make me a satanist anymore than listening to Justin Bieber backwards, forwards or whatever way. So, my joke on the weak of faith is to say 666. Oooh witchypooh. Have a great day, all.
