Light candles for Rosh Hashana tonight 20 minutes before sundown. Click here for precise candle lighting times for your area Yom Tov will last until the evening of the 15th, but you will light candles again tomorrow night. Yom Tov operates like a Shabbat, but cooking is permitted under the direction of a qualified Rabbi. *Please keep in mind that those who are taking steps toward observance should not take on more than they can handle at once. It's okay (and even recommended) to move at a manageable pace. If you're not ready to observe a particular mitzvah or holiday "all the way", try doing it in moderation or in part until you feel comfortable and confident taking on more. Have a wonderful holiday no matter what your level of observance is.

Good Shabbos to you. I'm lighting in about 5 minutes, so I won't get any replies until tomorrow, but I hope you all have a wonderful Shabbos!
